Questa statua si trova in una delle " piazzette " della mia piccola cittadina e fa parte del monumento dedicato ai caduti durante la Grande Guerra. Non sarà bellissimo come monumento dato che è stato realizzato in cemento ( mentre la parte sottostante al rapace è in marmo bianco ) e di conseguenza senza un vero e proprio valore artistico ma ritengo invece abbia un grande valore storico e morale perché oltre a simboleggiare i valori di forza, coraggio, lealtà e orgoglio dei nostri caduti, ci ricorda che loro stessi hanno dato la vita per poterci offrire un futuro migliore.
