Hachiko è un cane giapponese che è vissuto dal 1923 al 1935, appartenente alla razza Akita bianco. Questo cane è diventato famoso per il suo affetto che ha dimostrato al proprio padrone, il professor Ueno dell'università di Tokyo, da cui venne adottato nei primi mesi di vita.
