I really like this maximum shot... reminds me: "He gave birth to the flowers in the rocks... great things made the Lord for us!"
A dear greeting,

But look, it looks like a lion's mouth, but it's not. That's nice though, I really like the rust-orange color that repeats that of the rock, and the purple that detaches instead overpowering from the whole context. With the crop I would have dared even more on this very pleasant floral photo ;-).

Agata, thank you very much for your very welcome comment. This flower does not grow in southern Italy and your parts, therefore, you can not see.
Hello and good evening!

In Tuscany, Claudio, the Linaria is present on the upper Apennines and, therefore, if you want to see it you have to make the effort to walk in the mountains, which is very good for health!!! ;-) ;-)
Mica only always piers!!!! :-D :-D :-D
Many thanks for your nice comment!

You are tall and you have long legs and, therefore, you should not really struggle to make nice walks in the mountains!
You have defined this shot perfectly: it is, above all, a document. When you need it you never have the right lens at your fingertips, damn it!
Thank you so much for the very welcome comment!
to early and good evening!

Perfectly centered the resemblance Simonetta! The lion's mouth belongs to the same family, the Plantaginaceae, of the Linaria. What is striking about this beautiful little colorful flower is that you find it in the midst of the rocks of high altitude scree and you wonder where you find the forces to grow and live.
As for the crop I have not dared that much: try to look at the picture in HD and then you judge if I did good or bad!
A huge thank you, Simonetta, for your comment nice and well argued, I'm very happy that you liked the shot!
