The depths of the Exumas islands are incredibly populous of these magnificent specimens, but this recovery is really apt ;-)

Thank you all for the comments...
This shot was performed in the Bahamas (Località Bimini) in February 2018, period where usually arrive the specimens of hammerhead shark (but do not believe if they see so many is not so...), not to be confused with the other smaller species that lives in Large groups.
I have two shots in my opinion of high level, and other discrete 4-5...
If you noticed this photo I made it to 13 mm, the great difficulty is to photograph them closely...
A perfect underwater photo you do it a meter away max... and if you have a very high level of equipment it helps you...
who has experience of underwater photography knows what I'm talking about...
This is one of those photos that every underwater photographer dreams of hanging in the house...

Beautiful and very good for the technique (the only equipment is not enough, you must know how to exploit)!

Sure Gianni, I never want to launch the message that you just have the right equipment to make a perfect photo...
because we all have to know that it is not so...
say that underwater is very difficult... and some photos you can not do if the technique and experience do not combine
a medium-high level equipment...

Thanks Francis, I share your thought... for an underwater photographer The great hammerhead shark is definitely one of the top subjects... I wish you to photograph it soon. Bimini Bahamas is the right place...
