I very much appreciate, Fiorenzo, that you have defined it "unveiled"... There is certainly no particular merit in this... simply I always try to convey an emotion with photography, the same emotion I feel when I am in front of a person, whoever it is. Certainly not always I can, but my end is always and only that. Sometimes it comes out an image that has a very strong impact, as maybe in this case being a child, but I think it is important to never hide anything. And this, whether we like it or not, is the situation where these children are growing up.

Ho molto apprezzato, Fiorenzo, che tu l'abbia definita "senza veli"... Non c'è sicuramente alcun merito particolare in questo... semplicemente io cerco sempre di trasmettere un'emozione con la fotografia, la stessa emozione che provo io quando mi trovo davanti ad una persona, chiunque essa sia. Certo non sempre ci riesco, ma il mio fine è sempre e solo quello. A volte ne viene fuori un'immagine che ha un impatto molto forte, come forse in questo caso trattandosi di un bambino, ma credo sia importante non nascondere mai nulla. E questa, che ci piaccia o meno, è la situazione in cui si trovano a crescere questi bambini.
