All'interno del cimitero di matrice chiaramente anglosassone si erge il Mausoleo Crespi che pare abbracci e vigili le piccole lapidi operaie consumate dal tempo in una stretta eterna. La sua forma piramidale ricorda gli ziqqurad mesoamericani ai quali è probabile si ispirò il suo progettista, l'architetto milanese Gaetano Moretti.
