Leggero crop.

Between the two proposals this seems to me more enjoyable at the compositional level, even in the other the presence of the insect represents a ' plus '. I focused instead on reading the shutter speeds. I assume that the two photos were taken a few minutes away and despite the same aperture and same ISO the time of the other is much quicker so as to freeze the flight of the bumblebee, even with correct exposure. Did you change your angle by pointing to a light zone?
Compliments.

I share your opinion, Giorgio! I also like more this shot, but the one with the bumblebee I posted only to reward his "vanity"!!! ;-) ;-)
Thank you very much for the comment that I was very gratified and I wish you a happy weekend!

Marco, first of all a great thank you for your well-motivated comment and for the appreciation of the shot. I also prefer this shot of Columbine to the other with the bumblebee, but having posted that also seemed to me to reward the "vain" insect that, to my great fortune, had obstacle between my goal and the flower.
to answer your question: The photos were taken at two different seedlings of Columbine placed close enough and about three minutes away from each other. One, the one with the bumblebee, was in the light, while this was in the shade. Here is explained the difference in shutter time and it was luck in luck, because otherwise the bug would be very choppy.
in the morning!
Hello and good Saturday!
Max :-)

Thanks a lot to you, Franco, for the Welcome comment!
In fact I have yet to understand if I have more fun to take pictures of flowers or to identify the flower and look for the news and characteristics. I think it's both things together! ;-) :-D
