La Chiesa parrocchiale di Almese è dedicata alla Natività di Maria Vergine ed è stata costruita negli anni tra il 1963 ed il 1966, su disegno dell'architetto Boschis, proprio nel cuore del paese, non lontano dalla piazza centrale. E' tutta in cemento armato e mattoni, lunga 24 metri, larga 17 ed alta 16 e a quanti vi entrano la prima volta fa abitualmente dire che è bella ed accogliente, vero luogo di preghiera; Casa di Dio e porta del cielo. Ci sono in essa due grandi finestre a croce che ricevono e riflettono la luce di oriente e quella del meriggio e del tramonto, e poi ci sono le belle finestre più basse che richiamano le beatitudini evangeliche, mirabile testimonianza del pittore Leonardo Girardi e dell'artigiano Pier Giorgio Vighetto. Davanti all'altare, grande e tutto bianco, come l'ambone, si stendono ad occupare buona parte del pavimento, quattro file di banchi e in alto, sull'entrata, c'è un grande organo a canne, opera della ditta Ruffatti di Padova. La Chiesa è ricca di significativi e pregiati pezzi d'arte antichi e moderni. Il grande Crocifisso, la statua lignea della Madonna e i quadri della Via Crucis, sono del tardo 1700 e nel tempo stanno veramente bene dandogli preziosità e grazia. Ci sono poi le cose nuove: l'ultima cena, nell'abside, la pala col Cristo risorto nella Cappella del Santissimo, il quadro del battesimo di Gesù e sei piccoli dipinti raffiguranti la storia della nostra redenzione, nello spazio del battistero, tutti opera del pittore Gabriel Girardi. A completare i tesori della nostra Chiesa c'è, sul lato destro, un grande trittico del pittore Leonardo Girardi che raffigura al centro la Natività di Maria con Sant'Anna e San Gioacchino e ai lati San Rocco e la Beata Anna Michelotti il cui padre era di Almese e che si venera come compatrona della parrocchia.
