Le due figlie di Spotty erano nascoste e lontane dalla nostra jeep e si vedevano con molta difficoltà anche perché il sole ormai stava calando. Noi speranzosi attendevamo che qualcosa si muovesse ma tutto era immobile. All'improvviso attraverso il mio tele mi accorsi che una delle due alzò il capo e tese le orecchie. In un attimo si alzò completamente e inizio a correre con il suo passo agile e felpato verso di noi, la vidi alla nostra stessa altezza distante pochi metri, tra lei e noi erano rimasti solamente gli ultimi cespugli e qui scattai questa foto. Lei si fermò davanti all'ostacolo che le si presentò (la nostra jeep), pensò probabilmente cosa fare e cambiò la sua strada per evitarci , dopo di che si addentrò nella foresta dall'altra parte della strada. Guardammo la nostra guida per capire come mai tanto movimento improvviso e lui ci disse che la tigre aveva sentito in lontananza la madre che aveva cacciato e correva verso di lei. Le emozioni forti di questo viaggio saranno certamente difficili da dimenticare.
