Un'alba incredibile, la più bella mia vita. Stavamo guidando verso Blönduós quando, alle prime luci, delle nubi madreperlacee hanno illuminato il cielo con dei colori incredibili. Queste particolari nubi si formano con temperature sotto -78 °C a quote comprese tra i 15000 e i 25000 metri. A causa della loro altitudine e della curvatura della Terra queste nubi ricevono la luce solare da sotto l'orizzonte e sono osservabili in particolare prima dell'alba o dopo il tramonto. Non sono stato fortunato con le aurore boreali (sigh!) , ma spero di essere riuscito a trasmettere un pò della magia di cui son stato testimone. Ogni critica/suggerimento è sempre bene accetto.
