With your superlative b / n you have been able to stand out even more the drama of this place.

The photo makes the sadness of the place very well.
The reflections of the windows are a bit like spirits hovering in the sky.

Thanks Vincenzo - Andrea - Giorgio - Mauro - Jancuia - Roberto - Roby - Paki - Woody of the vss. comments and to all those who have signed this image, because beyond the "likes" that in this case is of little importance, there should be a sense of deep participation in what has been a human catastrophe and a teaching for all generations , past, present and future.
Thanks Stefano

Historical document that should make everyone reflect, but unfortunately there is a lot of indifference and ignorance, in Arezzo last night was removed the memorial stone of the Holocaust massacres.
I do not know what's going on for the next few years, I'm certainly very worried.
Congratulations Stefano.

Excellent choice of this b / n so incisive, so dramatic ... to remember the greatest horror of the story :-(

... A train arrives, it is full of children,
happy that the interminable journey is over.
And they sing joyous playing in the snow.
Smiling the torturers caress them,
take them to showers. I am a thousand;
unsuspecting children, white voices, celestials.
In three hours a thousand children died.
Golden curls in the mud and in the air,
the sounds of laughter, smiles in the smoke.
Death, scattered with both hands
over the tortured bodies.
On the heads of the children singing.
Man, and pdeeper odor in which it fell.
The snow, falls light on the massacre and does not cover it ...

(Freely adapted from a story by a survivor)

Thanks Loris for your comment and information. Too many times we hear of acts of disfigurement of memory, it is something to which we must all rebel and make our voices heard; it goes of the future of our. sons.

Thanks Patty for your active participation with this wonderful and terrible story.
