Costruita presso la stazione negli anni '80 del XIX secolo dall'ing Sesto Maggiorani, la cui impresa lavorava alla costruzione della ferrovia Roma-Avezzano, fu acquistata nel 1902 dal pittore Alessandro Morani (1859-1941), notissimo artista della Roma fin de siècle. Segretario del gruppo di pittori "In arte libertas", poi membro del circolo dei XXV della Campagna Romana, Morani fu paesaggista, decoratore, disegnatore di illustrazioni nonché scenografo, ad esempio per lavori di D'Annunzio. Attualmente la villa è abitata dagli eredi del pittore ed è stata dichiarata "dimora storica della Regione Lazio".
