Questo maschio ha continuato a chiamare la sua compagna, che era stata vista nei giorni precedenti, offrendole prede sempre piu' vistose (per ultima, prima che andassimo via, quella di questa foto), aspettando pazientemente ed esibendo i grossi insetti in tutte le direzioni; lei non si é mai piu' presentata né quel giorno, né nei giorni seguenti, per cui abbiamo pensato che fosse stata uccisa o che fosse morta per un incidente.
E' stato molto commovente e triste e sono tornata a casa con il senso forte della fragilità degli individui, ed in generale, della natura |
