A damp dark morning, showing how our Cathedral (about 3/4km distance) with the tallest spire in Britain looms high above the offices and shops around.
This is standard lens view, not a huge telephoto foreshortening.
It looks peaceful, but the big supermarket on the far left is noisy with banging and moving palettes about as the day's deliveries are made. I've balanced out the light and exposure extremes but otherwise have left the scene as it is, not taking anything out. |
