A little bright but nice composition overall. A nice scene with the cows too.

You need to set the exposure on the camera correctly at the time of taking!!

Good Sunday to you!

Tim, my comment went out without a sentence: "or the photographer ... ;-)"
I need to improve, thank you for taking your time.

Seriously though Peter, I know that my Nikons have always veered towards overexposure, especially when set to Matrix metering. I almost always have 1/2 to 2/3 stop EV underexposure set in as default and then I take subsequent shots changing that if and as necessary. This only really works with static landscapes but once practiced, like myself, you can do this really very quickly.

My recent houseboat windows reflection shot required minus 1.3 stops below what was metered, it would have been a disaster if I had shot it at that suggested setting.

Remember, the best passport to a good final result is a as perfect original you take can take at the time. Take more shots and more time doing so, digital at least offers that flexibility.

Tim, thank you so much, I'm almost embarrassed to have you spending the time to write the notes to me, I can not express my thank you any better, so thank you!

No problems, Peter - too many people just take one shot and hope/presume that Photoshop will be enough to sort it out. They're not real photographers - we care about getting the best and whatever that takes.

I better listen to you, as I do not know (yet) how to play with Photoshop ;-)
Enjoy your Sunday Tim, and once again thank you, sincerely appreciated.
