13.08.2017 Stavamo rientrando all'Aruba Camp, provenendo dal Mara River, ormai il tramonto era concluso e si stava avvicinando il pericolo pioggia. Lungo la nostra pista abbiamo visto un numeroso branco di Iene dormire ai bordi di bassi Kopie, quando ad un tratto da un buco adiacente ad una roccia ecco spuntare questo baby. E' stato fantastico. Non avevamo mai visto un cucciolo di Iena tanto piccolo (penso che abbia avuto circa 3 settimane). Poco dopo un altro cucciolo più grande (di circa 3 mesi) si affacciò dalla stessa tana. Un incontro fortunato ed inaspettato, è stato l'anno delle Iene...oltre che dei Licaoni, Leoni e Leopardi naturalmente ;-)
