09.09.2017 Questa è l'antilope più grande dell'Africa, un'animale molto schivo nei confronti dell'uomo (la sua carne dicono sia molto saporita e viene utilizzata come alimento dall'uomo) che però nel Masai Mara si è fatto fotografare abbastanza bene con una buona luce verso il tramonto del nostro secondo giorno nella riserva. Una nota: nel nostro campo tendato (Aruba) vicino all'ingresso di Talek abbiamo spesso avuto come ospite un Eland cresciuto, dopo averlo trovato orfano, dai ranger della riserva. Un animale molto socievole che veniva a cibarsi delle prelibatezze vegetariane che crescevano nel bush tra le tende.
