300 chilometri sterrati. La strada è assolutamente perfetta. Terra battuta. Qualche lieve corrugazione solo alla fine, ma insignificante. Riesco a tenere velocità molto alte. Le curve sono veramente pochissime. Il panorama varia dall'iniziale campagna, al bush, ai laghi semiasciutti che la strada taglia, ad ampie zone di foresta primordiale. C'è solo la strada ed il piacere di guidarci attraverso. Incontro solo due road train ed un camper. Ogni tanto delle deviazioni ed i relativi cartelli fanno capire che tutta la zona è piena di miniere. Percorro i 300 chilometri in due ore e mezza tutto compreso. Il fondo è spesso bagnato. Le nuvole grigie che arredano il cielo devono aver, da poco, liberato un po' del loro contenuto. Alla fine tutto il retro dell'auto è praticamente rosso.
