Hi Carlo, sky shooting data are great, stars are pointy and the milky way you see without being exaggerated, and I like that.
The boy in the foreground especially thanks to the red jacket (being a strong color) can balance the image.
Bravo

Thank you so much for Peda, as a first test, in which I decided to be part of the scene, having not set a more intense close-up, I do not mind :-)

I still don't quite understand how a double exposure works from a point in the final image processing.
I'll explain: when I try to overlay with Lightroom multiple images with different exposures, I return an image that is equal to that at exposure "0". That is, it does not evaluate the correctly exposed areas of its shots and unites them in all one (as done in this photo).... surely there is something that escapes me.
Returning to the picture, very beautiful. The stars and the Milky Way always have theirs because in the compositions. Obviously well succeeded the PP. If I had any tips to share, I'd be delighted.
Greetings.

at most I can tell you my that I prefer to combine it all manually and with Photoshop, I do not let him decide the areas and from which photos take, but it is a matter of preference;)

In a context like this with crisp contours and clear, unshaded light passages from the lighted road to the Black Mountains You can also use masks.
I shoot it like it very much. Technically, I think it's well done. Maybe I would have preferred a little more color or still liveliness on the center of the Milky Way but the photo is already beautiful so.
More than the technical aspect, however, I want to comment on the expressiveness of the shot you achieved by putting yourself in front of the sky. Makes you dream. Good.

Thank you for the positive comments, that was the only time I ventured into the Milky Way.. I hope in the future to try again.. Sodium, with regard to the double exposure I joined the two shots just by importing them into the same file in Photoshop in two layers and using the masks to make the parts visible with the right exposure, as Simone said ;-)

And luckily it's just the first attempt! I still today after so many trials and study I can not make such beautiful photos!
Bravo Charles!

Thank you Victoria, so yes it was the first and last attempt to milk so far although every now and then I'm tempted to try again but I have to find an interesting close-up :-D I looked at your shots at the Milky Way and have nothing to envy to mine, a greeting
