Where are the spouses? sent on July 27, 2017 (10:18) by Conlafotografia. 23 comments, 515 views. [retina]

1/200 f/5.6, ISO 200, hand held.

Hi, the idea is cute and black and white does not make me crazy but the gray tones help to "hide" them if that was the purpose.
People on the left really occupy an excessive portion of the frame over the others and end up attracting attention on themselves by unbalance the composition. Even the cut statue helps to create disorder.
I think a vertical cut including only the distant people along with the bride and leaving the statue intact would be of greater interest.

Do you say so best?

Then the idea I like but the problem is that the spouses do not really notice much, they too confuse with the crowd! The presence of a lot of elements almost creates a disorder seems like a wally look!

True we say that the title was born after the shot also because I did not lose it from far away so with a 50mm equivalent

Sincerely the choice of this type of b / w does not convince me, but I like a lot the title that invites you to look for the bride and groom in the picture! I would say that I leave it as it is because it invites you to look better (perhaps improving shadows and making it a little darker so you can have a good improvement.)

I like the scene I like very much. The only thing I could do was to open the diaphragm to the point where only the spouses would be focused.

The last cut I like decisively more than the first one. It remains the idea of ??the search but partially rejects the composition with one person per side!
If you were held parallel to the strips on the ground and sacrificed a bit of floor leaving the statue intact would have been perfect for me.

The sx side says little or nothing
The low floor says little or nothing
The late dx with the young shoulders says little or nothing
The photo is full of uninterrupted components that occupy most of the space.
I would take the middle part of dx after the two seated and sx, grainy, but it is fun with the Chinese spouses and the people who look at it.
By the way, I noticed that they were Chinese, zooming in the picture.

Too chaotic the spouses just notice, the look does not focus on them ...

It would already serve either a longer optics or a more targeted post production or a race to get closer :-)

A bit flat the Black and White and, honestly, a bit confusing the photo. The eye turns me without a target, I do not find a focal point to stop me ... an attempt to revise me.

I find the dispersive shot. Too unrelated items with the theme of the photo. What really makes the click is difficult is the background. The cut of the statue eventually becomes the predominant element and the palace in the background introduces a lot of disturbance. Walking people could introduce dynamism but have put too many characters in the plan ahead of the bridal couple. To bring the attention back to the spouses might approach the scene, insert a vignetting around to make a spotlight and maybe insert a radial blur to give motion. So, however, it would kick off the initial shot.

True I would change the shot as it was born

The idea I like, however, is perhaps a little too confusing, the girls on the left give me a bit of annoyance and black and white for my tastes is a bit too gray!

Does not convince me. Those I think are subjects blend in the mass. Black and white is too poisonous for my taste. I do not like framing: statue and left-handed person. To try again.
