at 17mm, 30 sec f/5.6, ISO 200, tripod. Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Italy.

Purtroppo quella sera le tre cime erano completamente coperte dalle nuvole. Appena si è aperto un piccolo scorcio illuminato dalla luna, ho approfittato per fare uno scatto.

Hi Paolo, I really like the picture, the only thing that leaves me slightly puzzled is the sky that seems clearer to the ground ... was it really so or did you modify something in the post?

Hi Peda,
I shoot in RAW and develop photos with lightroom. In this case I did not touch almost anything The contrast between heaven and part of the ground is given by the almost full moon light that illuminated the brighter parts of the scene like clouds and white rock. The dark side is the lawn grass that with the blue light of night looks black.
Thanks for the post.

Nice shot. I like very much. The clouds have greatly enhanced the shot in my opinion. A greeting. Vincenzo

And a situation that I have encountered several times over the years, you did well to pick it up ;-) ;-), a different shot, in the post I would have tried to lower the high lights in the left.

Thanks to everyone, I see that we are more or less the same places.
Silver58 will try to lower the lights to SX to darken a little sky and make it more natural, leaving the white of the clouds illuminated by the moon I think they are fine
