Moonshape between the stars .. sent on May 26, 2017 (10:24) by Jacktorva. 29 comments, 1919 views. [retina]

at 600mm, 1/80 f/9.0, ISO 200,

Hello Jacktorva, an unpublished, I had seen the moon photographed with the part in the shade a bit more illuminated but this is really nice, congratulations

Of this photographic genre I'm not an expert critic, so my mistake may be this time, but I see it as extraordinary as photography.

If I was Juza and knew how to adequately judge it sufficiently well, I would give the EP right away.

My compliments

A cordial greeting.

Patrician

Exactly, although I might not suggest the EP, I think the EP assent has to change, as I said yesterday in other places.
The EP could perhaps be flanked by a new category, the "photo of the day" or "the week", more realistically. Next to each photo published by each user, besides MY PLEASE, there may also be a vote button. Who cares more ...
Editors' righteous remain his, the site is his, and so on ...
It is true that to me, for example, 75% of EPs do not literally say anything.

Great and great explanation for the realization, a thank you is a must ... but there is a spontaneous question, did you use an equatorial mount or a trackwatcher to avoid the shake of low kick times or did you just put it on the stand?

Hi Emmanuel and thank you for the passage, I used a star tracker Skywatcher StarAdventurer.

Do you give me some info plus I have the same tool, put it on the star as the setting centering the polar star and shots or put it on the moon setting and always point the polar star or what?

Hi Emanuele I make the polar allocation and then in this case I put on the moon's design.

To position polar use the polar scope app that tells me exactly where it should be in the polar telescope pattern.

Interesting Jack, thanks for the info, I've always stopped with the star settings for the milky way and I did not know how to use others, even because there is no detailed explanation of every single symbol on the net. I have always tried with the star setting to mount the 150-600 sigma sport but as the touches start to vibrate everything, I will do further tests after your explanations. Thank you

Emanuele

Bah finally did not arrive. Boh, I guess it deserves it at the end. Boh, it will be that ordinary mortals do not feed on celestial food ... ;-)
