It 'a great place! how beautiful is the 'hike to get there ..
The light does not seem the best but in reality the picture makes good l 'atmosphere of the place where it really seems that on each Tepui can survive dinosaurs or some mysterious being ..

Some places make it really well the power of Nature .. This makes it less likely sky more plus brings out the fog bank that cuts through the jungle, in my opinion very nice! ;-)

Thanks Johniz and Herma compliments :-) :-)
@ Herman - Getting there is a show! It dates back to about 4/6 hours a river with their typical boat. In the period that I was the (December) the river was quite dry and therefore in some places you had to also get off and push to allow the boat to pass the shoals. All the way you're surrounded by forest and Tepui (their typical flat mountains). To put a bit of adventure to walk further is the fact that at night there are no hotels but you sleep on hammocks under simple overhangs. A wonderful experience:-P:-P:-P

Thanks Juza!
The real luck was that it rained during the night. When we arrived the day before being the dry season, the waterfall was nothing more than a trickle. The water falling from almost 1000 meters came to land that was sprayed. E 'enough to make a night of rain the cascade of water and spectacular as you see in the picture:-P
Lovely place! and still amazing + of this trip for me was the Canaima lagoon (which is part going up the river to Angel Falls), a place outside the world (there can only be reached by air to 5 people) with some spectacular waterfalls ( find some hole in my profile).

Hello Claudio, thanks for the details of the trip :-) .. I wanted to understand how he had changed the way of getting there in recent years, as the Angel met him through books, now dated, Bonatti and Perlotto .. plus a few movies base jump!

Nice picture really impressive. I would say that all of the Parque Nacional de Canaima is a mine of inspiration photos and the plurigettonato Angel Falls is the essence of the magnificence of nature. All along the route of the Rio Caroni, which will probably curiara path by means of a motor, there are beautiful unique angles that have little to envy to the side of the Amazon basin in Brazil, which is also amazing and full of life. Not far from the Canaima Lagoon and its jumps, about an hour's walk, there is a community of Pemon Indians, very discreet and quiet as well as very polite with strangers who go to visit them. If Venezuela enters the blood as often happens, it will be difficult to part with, even memories.
