In captivity but free to fly within the confines of a large butterfly park. Gouldian finches are in decline, even in their native Australia, where significant numbers are kept by aviculturists. It has been classed as 'endandered in the wild' and is subject to a conservation programme. In cattività ma liberi di volare all'interno dei confini di un grande parco a farfalla.
