Boccadasse, che si trova a tutti gli effetti all'interno del Comune di Genova, è un suggestivo borgo di pescatori all'estremo est della città e ricorda i tipici paesi arroccati tra la dura costa e il dolce mare ligure. La tranquillità che si respira nella piccola spiaggia e tra le case dalle tinte pastello è ciò che più viene apprezzato del borgo. Turisti e genovesi non mancano mai in questo splendido angolo di città, raggiunto comodamente con i mezzi pubblici o l'auto, ma anche a piedi partendo proprio dal centro città (la stazione ferroviaria di Brignole si trova a circa tre chilometri di distanza). La breve distanza tra le vie centrali di Genova e questo borgo che – a prima vista – sembrerebbe molto più lontano dal caos cittadino, è decisamente uno degli aspetti più stupefacenti di Boccadasse: un momento prima si cammina tra i famosi e frequentati monumenti di Genova, e un attimo dopo ci si ritrova circondati dalla quiete di un piccolo borgo di mare
