Aventador... è il nome di un fiero toro da corrida del 1993. La Lamborghini Aventador in versione Coupé venne commercializzata nel 2011 nella versione LP 700-4 dove LP indica la posizione posteriore longitudinale del motore mentre 700 sono i cavalli di potenza erogata da codesto e 4 sta per la trazione integrale. Nel 2012 vide la luce la versione Roadster. Erano dotate di un motore con 12 cilindri a V di 60° di 6500 cm3 sviluppante 700 cavalli che portavano le vetture fino a 350 chilometri orari di velocità massima. Nel 2013 vennero dotate del sistema CDS (Cilinder Deactivation System) che permetteva alle vetture di utilizzare una sola bancata... cioè solo 6 cilindri... per muoversi fino alla velocità di 135 chilometri orari. Alla fine del 2016 fu presentata la Aventador S... solo versione Coupé (questa nella fotografia)... che aveva il frontale ridisegnato mentre il propulsore... pur rimanendo invariata la cilindrata... aveva ricevuto un incremento di potenza di 40 cavalli portando il totale a 740.
