Pires, thanks for looking and the comments. I can see what you mean by the lack of detail and light in the fish and the talons. PP was applied to all of the parts equally. However, the fish and the talons are in the shadow under the wing and therefore may not have received enough direct sunlight to achieve a sharp focus and good detail. I know that the 400 5.6 lens that I use needs good light to achieve the sharpest focus. Hope that explains it. Wally
