Spectacular rays of light bathing the landscape, Tim! Beautifully captured!

Yes, there are issues with the comments at the moment, whether they are in Italian or English. The same thing happened a few nights ago - I messaged Juza then and it appeared to be fixed for a while. When I get Italian text that I don't understand, I copy and paste it into Google Translate which I always keep open as a tab on my computer. I find it really useful when things have got translated into nonsensical English - a little research and I can usually work out what was intended to be said. I remember I saw some confusion in comments on one of your images when 'dull' (as in weather) had been translated as 'boring', which, of course, in a different context, would have been the meaning!

Ann :))

Yes, I remember that translation! I didn't think it was meant to be offensive so I took no notice, which I often do, you can get the gist quite easily but not get too bothered by actual phrases and expressions.

Me emailing Juza obviously won't do any harm and he'll realise that it's still malfunctioning. I'm off for a walk about 4 a.m. to get to a local landmark for sunrise (no money and no transport for such even if it existed anyway!) and I certainly won't want to be emailing when I get back all tired.

Glad you liked this one - it was quite the weather being thrown at me and I had only taken David's old lens with me and I wasn't going to run half mile back to the car (and back uphill again) so this was at the shortest focal length.

I love the atmosphere in this picture :-)
Colors look like the painting of an old canvas, as William Turner :-)
I would have just deleted the lens flare in the bottom of the frame.

Regards, Donato

Thanking everybody very much indeed!

Donato - I agree, I should have done but I didn't really see it until it was posted and it does help emphasise the sheer brightness of the situation and isn't unduly distracting, in my opinion, so I won't be losing sleep over it. Cheers

Very nice these shades of color, and the rays of light that radiate the landscape.
