Arusha N.P. La Guereza Black-and-white Colobus (Colobo bianco e nero) sottospecie caudatus vive esclusivamente nel Monte Kilimanjaro e nel Monte Meru in una ristretta popolazione. Molto difficile da osservare a causa del suo habitat, vive infatti nelle fitte foreste tropicali ai piedi delle due cime più alte d'Africa ad un'altezza massima di 2300mt. Ho avuto la fortuna e l'onore di poter ammirare questi esemplari il mio primo giorno ad Arusha N.P., sono abbastanza timidi e difficili da avvicinare e spesso all'arrivo della Jeep si dileguano nella foresta. Interessante il loro mantello, molto lungo sul dorso a formare una lunga e folta coda bianca. #safari #blackandwhite #wild #sguardi
