#Spring #Viola #Wild Anemone coronaria L. - Nome italiano: Anemone dei fiorai Pianta erbacea perenne con rizotubero scuro dalla forma abbastanza irregolare; stelo fiorifero lungo fino a circa 35 (50) cm, densamente peloso (peli da suberetti a eretti-appressati allo stelo, semplici o in fascetti) portante un unico fiore apicale e un verticillo di foglie ad esso ravvicinato; le restanti foglie sono tutte radicali. Decidua nel periodo estivo, riprende l'attività vegetativa nel tardo autunno o durante l'inverno con la riemissione di nuove foglie. Fiori: Attinomorfi, ermafroditi, diametro 3,5-6,5 (8) cm; sepali petaloidi 5-8, obovati, largamennte obovati, o subrotondi, blu-violetti, scarlatti (in questo caso possono essere bianchi alla base), rosei (o bianco-violacei) o completamente apocromici (albini); stami numerosi, con antere da biancastre (generalmente negli stami più interni) a blu-nerastre (negli esemplari apocromici giallastre); gineceo apocarpico con stili violaceo-scuri (negli esemplari apocromici giallastri) persistenti ma non accrescenti.
