Il Ponte di pietra, che sovrasta il fiume Adige, è l'unico ponte rimanso della città di Verona di epoca romana. Costruito inizialmente in legno nel 148 a.C, dopo breve tempo fu sostituito con un ponte lapideo, divenendo uno dei più importanti monumenti della Verona romana. Dopo crolli, inondazioni e ristrutturazioni, oggi il ponte è costituito da cinque arcate di pietra e cotto, largo 7 metri e lungo ben quasi 93 metri.
