Lo Shard London BridgeTower. Inaugurato il 5 luglio 2012, con i suoi 310 metri d'altezza (costituiti da 87 piani di cui 72 abitabili), è il più alto grattacelo dell'Unione Europea, il terzo in Europa ed il 57° del mondo. La struttura progettata dall'architetto Genovese Renzo Piano ha una forma piramidale irregolare ed è rivestito completamente in vetro. Critiche costruttive sempre ben accettate.
