at 56mm, 2 sec f/22.0, ISO 100, tripod. Trieste, Italy.

Secondo tentativo di un mio vecchio scatto. Questa volta però ho usato il TAMRON invece del NIKOR e la luce invece di provenire da sinistra proviene un po più verso la camera creando delle ombre.

What did you use as a background? of the cardboard? And what kind of light did you create. is it natural or artificial light to illuminate the screws?

I didn't use any background. To illuminate the scene I used an old FUJI flash that I kept in my left hand. I gave the camera the shutter command (2 seconds of exposure in a room without lights on) so I pressed the TEST button on the flash causing it to shoot at maximum power. The subject in the foreground is then illuminated correctly, the background (wall of my room) disappears into thin air!! Small photo trick ;-)
