(ex Banca Commerciale Italiana - in Piazza della Scala) realizzato nel primo decennio del secolo scorso da Luca Beltrami (1854-1933), uno dei più importanti architetti italiani del'epoca, in collaborazione con l'ing. Giovanni Battista Casati (1853-1934). La facciata è caratterizzata da un classicismo accademico e linguisticamente corretto, privo però di particolari voli pindarici. Decisamente più interessanti sono gli interni (vedi foto successive). # Pur essendo la linea d'orizzonte nell'inquadratura io, contrariamente alla consuetutudine, ho tenuto inclinate le linee verticali perché in tal modo è meglio resa la sensazione di come l'imponente facciata viene percepita da quel lato della piazza. #Musei
