A very nice shot ... I really like the composition that favors the lower 2/3 of the shot with the light on the water games.
perhaps there is a bit of banding created by the halo of light around the sun

hello hello Unless :-P

You made it to Mudeford then! A beautiful sunset and a lovely composition with the people, the buildings and the light on the pebbles in the foreground!

Salvo, yes, the sun was extremely bright. If there is any banding it is very slight, I cannot see it myself. Thank you!

Ann! You missed my title, it's not gravel, it's seaweed! Thanks.

I didn't miss your title, Tim - even looking at the enlarged version, it still looks like large pebbles with seaweed clinging to it in places! I cannot actually see your tripod to see where it is standing...... Sorriso

I won't argue with you Ann, I was rather overpowered by the moment, as you can imagine, just thought you'd read on the other site that I was on a gravel spit and guessed. Perhaps I'm wanting to make it sound grander than it might be!

Now, now, Lori, behave! (And as always, thanks! )

Actually, I was out again first thing this morning, in the freezing fog, with the ponies...

it's always difficult to handle light with a sun so strong, I confirm myself a bit of banding, I believe inevitable ...
