Come dicevo, l'alkekengi fa un frutto contenuto in quello che si chiama calice, qui fotografato. D'estate, quando è maturo, è di arancione vivo. Io non li raccolgo (si possono mangiare), perchè sono troppo belli anche d'inverno. Inoltre, con una bacca per calice, ne potrei raccogliere al massimo una quarantina: più la fatica che il gusto di mangiarli! Il calice ha una consistenza prticolare, cartacea. Visto da vicino, che si trasformi in reticolato (vedi altre foto) o che resti completo, rimane secondo me stupendo, particolarmente fotogenico, pur se atipico in questo genere di fotografia.
