housing wanted desperately ... sent on December 02, 2016 (14:25) by Steff. 17 comments, 1064 views. [retina]

con Canon EF 1.4x III, 1/1000 f/5.6, ISO 3200, hand held. Specie: Stephanoaetus coronatus

: -o Nice shot and beautiful description .... Perhaps the fact that they have natural enemies (and whoever touches it?) Made you choose a nest without worrying about the car, however, as always, not scare people ... compliments and very healthy envy even just for having seen this magnificent animal

Thank you all and doubly Robertino for mp!
Maybe the fact that they have no natural enemies (and whoever touches it?)

Thanks Roberto,
They have a few but all of nemici.i predators are occasional, at night a leopard can climb the tree and kill an adult but it is not easy and still risky even for the felino.i chicks born recently are occasionally preyed upon by big owl Verreaux fact that the eagles hate and persecute the first opportunity, but at night the owl is temibile.seguendo web exploits the crowned eagle research I noticed that in the kwa zulu natal mortality is mainly due to collisions with cars, collisions with cables, poisoning and rarely shot.
in KZN to avoid it sold the government compensate those who lose their dog, cat or sheep dueEagle
thanks again

This I'd lost.

Beautiful animal, beautiful photos even considering the light and high ISO.
As always interesting caption as a result, well done Steff.

is rather strange to see that an animal elsewhere rare and elusive here decides to make nests in front of a street a a dirt road within the closed reserves but at least 20-30 cars a day pass us. [/ QUOTE ]
