In questa malga, posta a circa 2.300 m. dove ha inizio la Valle del Cedec, appena sopra il Rifugio dei Forni, viene prodotto il formaggio Scimudin, tipico della zona. Il latte utilizzato è quello delle mucche che pascolano sulle praterie della valle, praticamente a km. 0 ! Lo Scimudin è un formaggio a pasta molle, di breve stagionatura (3 o 4 settimane). Il nome deriva dalla parola Scimud che, in dialetto bormino, significa “formaggio” e, Scimudin significa “piccolo formaggio” dato che le forme sono piccole e oscillano da 1,4 a 1,8 Kg. Lo scatto è stato effettuato nel Luglio del 2016.
