There have been some time ago, but from your shooting me looks much nicer, probably the pdr you have cleverly exploited and beautiful composition may be two valid reasons, congratulations Massimo!

Architecturally, Peter, the Rifugio Forni is not a masterpiece, but it's still one of the first mountain small hotels that have been built over the Alps in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The place where it was built, in my personal taste, is lovely and all in all, is not as touristically exploited (there have never been in August, though) and, therefore, reserve a tranquility that puts you at peace with you same.
Thank you so much for your nice comment that made me a great pleasure.

Many thanks, George, for the appreciation of the shot, which made me a great pleasure!
I too old to make the tree climbing (unfortunately !!! :-() and shooting was done simply by the cart track that descends from Rifugio Pizzini Frattola and that came near the Rifugio Forni, dips steeply to ripidissimamente overcome the last height difference. the pDR, therefore, was an added plus! :-D ;-)
A good weekend to you and a big hug!
