At the beginning of the Great War the different peaks that form the Plateau of Kolovrat were occupied by the Italian army, from here it was possible to control the positions , and the movments of the hostile army which was located in the mountains on the other side the Soca River, needless to say of the hard life by those who were in these locations.( 46°11'7.38"N 13°39'37.18"E ) E.N.S.

My grandfather returned alive, wounded three times, but alive and gave me a good memory, with his stories, what was that war. I keep a couple of medals and some other small object that era belonged.
Picture of deep emotion document, thank you.
