Out on the autumn open heathland in the New Forest late yesterday afternoon, this pretty semi wild chestnut mare raises her head from grazing to give herself a good shake - thus the bad hair look! I was out on the open Forest until after dark, not getting home until late and much walking, so am very tired today!
