Non è una novità, ma per me si tratta del primo mosaico. Due immagini riprese al fuoco del RC8" a piena focale (1600mm), con la camera da 4mpx SXVFH16. 35 minuti per canale colore per entrambe le due inquadrature. Spero piaccia. Saluti

Very beautiful, congratulations, the stars are clearly focused and bright the right, I would say excellent first mosaic.
In my open clusters are beautiful objects to take, though less "popular" of other objects ...

Hello GP70, this double cluster in its morphological conformation is one of the most beautiful of our hemisphere, sometimes in a particularly dark and clear skies with SQM than 21:50 you see perfectly with the naked eye and even with the help of binoculars you He perceives all its grandeur. About your picture I notice a color change may be too excessive on cyan that extends throughout the first floor, especially the central stars that have more an aura a little too strong, perhaps all this surplus depends on the focal length of 1600mm full barefoot. You have not described the software that you used for the PP. Hello

Yes is one of the most beautiful, but perhaps the most beautiful of open clusters, I used a lot in public evenings, when it was possible to observe it, and collected always great appreciation.

Coming to the picture, it is indeed an experiment, unfortunately I had to fight a little with gradients that have colored part of the frame ...... very wet evenings during this period.
Aart I used for the acquisition, Maxim for assembly and stretch and a bit of photoshop to correct colors.
Beppe, if you have any suggestions I'm all ears! ;-)
Thanks for the ride to you and Gianluca.

Giampaolo hello, if you want a suggestion of how to color the stars of these clusters will refer you to this link of my gallery, so you can make a comparison although at different focal objects ... the stars are too blue ... the components of two objects are white giants and is easy to be confused in their color ... I add that these objects are bathed in a haze cross the IFN and one can see in my image and it is that which determines the peculiarity of this object
still great mosaic, background for my taste is too black ... in these cases if there are some gradients does not matter, retain some naturally leaving even a little noise ... tranquilllo ;-)

Annamaria Thanks for appreciation.

Vega, you're absolutely right in everything, I could not, however, to keep a certain naturalness, despite having made several tests.
Ritenterò soon as I have a bit of calm.
Thanks for the suggestions.
A greeting
