Come le leggi della fisica, ci sono le leggi dell'appostamento naturalistico che noi tutti conosciamo. Le prime cinque sono: 1 legge: se tu sei appostato su un fiume incassato tra rocce o alberi, la luce svanisce molto prima del tramonto e quello che deve arrivare, arriva proprio dopo che la luce non raggiunge più l'acqua. 2 legge: mentre la luce se ne va, lui si blocca immobile, un po' lontano e naturalmente tra gli steli dell'erba, facendo finta di voler pescare 3 legge: in ogni modo, come al solito, non fa nulla di interessante anche al morire della luce, perchè non ti deve dare nessuna soddisfazione fino alla fine. 4 legge: se il giorno dopo ti apposti più vicino al posto dove lui era, lui sceglie di andare proprio dove tu eri il giorno prima. 5 legge: (questa poi è fondamentale): dopo ore di infruttuosa attesa, qualcosa di bello arriva entro 5 secondi dopo che sbuchi fuori dall'appostamento. E se sposti l'orario, lo sposta pure lui.
