This was taken in the gardens at Stowe, which is a public school (what a place to study!) but the surrounding land belongs to the National Trust. it's a great place for a stroll and I love this magnificent bridge which spans a narrow point in the lake. Nice looking grounds and even in this dull light it looks nice and impressive, with everything nicely placed and good exposure throughout.

The Palladian bridge here reminds me of the very similar local one at Wilton House (where I have not been for quite a long while)
