Vespa crabro germana... o calabrone... Come sempre graditissime critiche e consigli.

Beautiful descriptions ... Good composition ... I like the branch that leaves from the lower-left just that the wasp had to be more to the left as it looks right, leaving more space in front of it. There is little definition does not know why, but sufficient for the overall composition if stampassi think it would be ok. The colors are not that great but they do not think you could do anything in PP. Hello.

Thanks ales.
Is the idea was to take it more to the left the wasp, so you have more space in front ... But it was shifting to the right and I took the fly, because I did not she turned back (and also because they are terrified of sti animals and I was afraid to get too close)

The focus seems to me is not the animal but on the flower to the far left: - /

The composition is excellent, the branch that leaves from the corner and is not cut at the top is super. I widened slightly to the right (it is now almost on the edge).
But there is a focus problem, I do not understand where it falls, certainly not on the animal's snout.
There is also very much noise in the background and ISO200 can only be the fault of the PP.

I would consider it an exercise.
From a creative point of view I would make you my compliments, the composition is excellent, the diagonal line is formed dall'arbusto pleasant, as well as the colors, and the animal is in place "right."
But otherwise ... we did not. Compared to images of the "masters" of the general picture does not hold, the subject is not in focus (it seems to me that there is nothing really in focus) and the sound you hear with ears :-D
The equipment, without taking anything away, certainly did not help.
You're on your way with a shot that overall "like"!

Thank you all ... objectively focus there is nothing.

The noise I believe, as you rightly said Marco, was created in pp ...

What could I have done? How I created?

Let's say that the basic idea is good ... but the execution does not own :) the fire is not going anywhere and already this kills the photo.
Then share what was said by richard ... you opened a lot :) shadows and it shows

Good composition, for the rest quoto those who have preceded me. Riccardo gave you good advice! The comparison with others is a great school!

For me is a great release from the compositional point of view, simple and successful.
There are for me the noise issues that normally stand it very well.
The only thing I want to note is that in my taste I would have closed the aperture to increase depth of field, and I would have rated the pdc bring within the branches. Focus on the eyes but everything in focus at the expense of a little 'blurred background.

The composition is good, but I agree with all the comments made.

Help me.
Which means that I opened the shades?

Thank you all for the advice!

That you acted on the areas in the shade using the sliders in post production, such as "shadows", blacks etc.
Open -> add "brightness"
Close -> remove "brightness"

Color, composition and maf are good and pleasant. The subject interesting and not at all trivial description (indeed, dangerous! :-D). The only thing that makes me turn up my nose is a little exaggerated the noise due to increased clarity in PP: grain too regular and unnatural on which you can not come over here, unlike that for high ISO. :-)

Pose of the subject and composition like but lacks detail in my opinion. The lights tend to burn, for the rest with the equipment you used I think is hard to get more

well composed picture, though it lacks a detailed casino, oh well that 18-55 is not that it is just ideal for this kind of photos. Post inadequate saw all the noise that has generated: -o

I am incompetent with pp ...

Even from my point of view the composition is good but completely lacks the detail on the subject. Even with 18-55 you can certainly get more, maybe with the help of a tripod and avoiding freehand on static subjects.

noisy (shadows), blurred (Focus incorrect?), colors do not exactly pleasant, right eye Wasp burned in the highlights at the top? The posterior branch is bothersome. Surely I ritenterei ...

iris open too far, with that goal at full aperture have no sharpness.
photos too contrasty, high burn lights.
as regards the composition I find that the branch on which it is placed too close to the edge of the image. or leave more space or cuts so as to leave it continuous.
