Back to this interesting effect, slightly distracting is the slightly greener patch bottom left, if it were all one dull grey green tone then I think it would have been better but overall I like the approach and the height the fisheye has given to the trees.

Thanks, Tim. I did dampen down the green from the original 'macro' version that I put up, to even it out some but I can see that it is still perhaps a little distracting. I tried mono but didn't really find that effective. I actually really like this but didn't dare make it my blip. Or, at least, I was pleased that the sun did its thing at sunset, so I didn't need to ponder for too long!

Obviously I cannot compare the previous with this and I suppose had in my mind that previous version when I wrote my comment just now. So, I lessen my comment and agree it had to have some colour, grey and white just would be too subtle.
