London's Piccadilly Circus, late Friday night, cold and very wet April, the centre of the tourist night-life. I tried both black and white and a half de-saturated variants but this guy's clothes were more colourful than the surroundings and so I preferred this original. Bit of a grab shot. #Street

I did see this earlier, Tim, but was in a bit of a rush and wasn't sure what I thought of it. The title is great and I like the jaunty angle and the light reflecting off the shiny wet floor. I also like the moment you have captured as a representation of what real life means for the homeless. I'm less keen on the brightly lit shop in the background and the dark figure on the left. I probably would have cropped him out, even though that would have meant losing the lovely arch of the window on the left.

Thank you Ann - as I wrote, it was a quick grab shot and such candids are seldom well composed - if you have to think about it too much, you could say that it's not a moment in time. I liked the walking figure as this shows that there were people walking all about, this is not a deserted place - this man is brave - or desperate enough to not worry what others think.

This must have been part of your evening out - I hope you had a good time and that the day produced some interesting photo opportunities, too!
