If I'm going to be honest - and in light of no comments being made since I saw it when it was posted, I would say that the subject is simply not strong or interesting enough. It might have been to you, but that seems to have got lost to a wider audience. Trying to help, so please don't take personally!

Thanks for your comment, Tim. Of course I don't take it personally! It was about shape and colour rather than the actual subject matter. Just thought I'd try it and see.....
That's one of the things I like about Juza - it gives me a chance to take risks (not being limited to just one image per day) - so I can try something different and gauge whether or not it's worth pursuing! Clearly not, in this case! :))

I'm glad you took it so well - looking at it again, I don't think the aerial helps either, it might be an extra bit of interest to you but it detracts from any classical architectural importance and I would have used a polariser to give a much deeper blue, which is what your title is all about, after all.

I am secure enough in my own opinions that I can accept constructive criticism with no problem (most of the time). It might be more of a problem if it were every photo though..... To be honest I am feeling a little despondent with my photography at the moment, as I don't seem to be able to get the results I envisage. Not sure what the answer to that one is!
