This is fabulous, Ann, beautifully wide, and with good exposure control throughout, from detail in the clouds and twigs to shadow detail in the cathedral's nooks and crannies. There does seem to be a strange glass needle thing muscling its way into the shot, though, I'm sure that can't be right! |

Thanks, Tim! That's a lovely comment! I have to say, I was much happier with the shots I took outside the cathedral than I was those inside! With a little editing, I've probably got a couple I'm reasonably happy with. That glass needle thing seems to work its way into quite a few London images! :) |

Ha! Yes!! Seeing how you work in Weymouth, Ann, I would suggest that you take more time and care with shots that have the most potential. You seemed to be very quick to point and shoot and for many subjects that is fine, but interiors of cathedrals and such, require a much slower, thoughtful and refined approach, lining up and to make the most of the dark light, time and care when gently squeezing the shutter. |

Refined.....hmmm......I'll see what I can do..... :) Thanks for the advice, Tim! :) |

No - I'm not going to make sunrise after all - I'm meeting friends in Bournemouth and can't really manage both. I do need to go to bed though..... :)) |
