at 340mm, 1/2500 f/8.0, ISO 400, tripod. Specie: Ardea cinerea

Compensazione - 0,7 EV.

Thank you so much Francesco, the subject is not in her pose more graceful but I had never seen the heron language!

Lambros, the moment exceeds the perfect pose or the compo or quality, at least I think so, and this shot the moment has it, all right, congratulations and good evening

Thanks Luigi, Massimo, Luigi.
Antonio, the moment I got out of revenge, he practically burped in my face after devouring a fish and I had to shoot him. Only with the camera, of course ...

You have done so well learn the etiquette. Even at 1 meter? You could feel his breath then fish.

Antonio, made me worse, although it's not all his fault. One more step and arrived where I had a clear view. A bloody horse grazing on the other side, higher up, overlooking the slope and neighs. To whom? heron? or sniffed me, since the river is narrow? The heron hangs, cranes his neck. Then he relaxes it does not move beyond. After so long, he is reversing, a long tour and is BELOW me where I was stationed. Even I saw it, I knew it was there. And when it was decided to fly away (and made me delay at lunch, in full Sunday), I went out and saw where they had his fingerprints. He had arrived more or less at one meter from me, below, in the deep hole dug by the floods around the tree roots. The full of this year has destroyed that tree and planed the shore, I losta great stalking.
